Loud Leaving

You've heard of '𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙚𝙩 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜' before,
but did you hear about '𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜'?

This may come as a surprise,
but it's not about leaving your job.
And at the same time it is about that.

'𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜'
𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬-𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭-𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨.

It also sets the example to your team.
Telling them that it fine to put an end to the day.

Nothing more of them is expected while:
🥘 they have dinner with their spouse,
🚙 they're out picking up kids,
🏋️ they're going to the gym,
🍿 binging Netflix

So how do you set this example?

➟ Tell people you're going for a run after work
➟ Tell people this is the last meeting of the day
➟ Signal that you can wait for a response on an email
➟ Encourage open dialogue on personal workload limits
➟ Embrace transparency about flexible work arrangements
➟ Share your after-work plans with colleagues to encourage similar boundaries
